Which room to pick in the app
Open Luxaudica, and when it asks you the room, choose Home.
That is the whole setup. It asks 2 questions, you answer them, and it builds the rotation and runs the room. The full control surface is one shortcut away if you ever want it — how Operator works.

The questions this room asks
- Do I have to set it up every time?
- No. The first time, it asks you 2 things — which room you are in and how it should feel. After that you put music on and press Start.
- Will it look the same as it did last night?
- No. It is drawn while you watch it, from the sound that is actually playing, so last night cannot come back. Even the same album looks different the second time.
- Can I have it on while I work?
- Yes, and it is one of the things people use it for. Pick Calm when it asks how it should feel, and it keeps to the calmer looks.
- Can it turn itself off when I go to bed?
- Yes. Once it is running, set Finish in on the bar. When the time is up it moves to the calmer looks, fades the picture out, and ends. If you would rather it just kept going, leave Finish in on Keep running.
- Is it listening to my house?
- No. It hears what your Mac is playing, and only that. The sound is looked at as it plays and then it is gone — unless you record the picture yourself, in which case it is in that video, on your Mac. Nothing is sent anywhere. Here is everything it does and does not send.
- Is it a subscription?
- No. It is $199, one time. Downloading it is free and the free version is the whole thing. Video output and exports carry two “Made with Luxaudica” marks — nothing else ever changes. Buying takes the marks off. Here is how the licence check works.
